Does Upside work with Claude?

Yes. Claude (Desktop, Claude Code, and claude.ai) is one of the most common ways teams use the Upside MCP today. The same connection also works with other supported AI tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Cursor, so you are not locked to a single assistant.

Is this just a chatbot on top of our CRM?

No. The agent reaches the unified dataset Upside builds: identity-resolved contacts, reconstructed timelines, extracted touchpoints, call transcripts, and emails, not raw CRM tables. Upside provides the clean foundation and the toolbox, the agent does the reasoning, and that combination is the difference between an answer and a guess.

How is access controlled, and is our data safe?

Access runs through your organization's authentication and is scoped to a single organization.
